Black Shoes Benefit Concert

A night of music and celebration for an excellent cause!

DR Missions, founded by local couple Rick & Carie Bernard, have for more than a decade brought life and hope to children in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic. One of the greatest challenges these children face is that they must have black dress shoes in order to go to school. Many of their families cannot afford their next meal, let alone the expense of providing their children with the uniforms, backpacks and black shoes that are required to attend school. And that’s where we can help!

Through this benefit concert we hope to collect enough new black dress shoes so that every child they serve through their orphanage and feeding program can have the opportunity to attend school. We’re also collecting hygene supplies such as toothpastes, washcloths, combs, brushes, soaps, perfumes, colognes, body sprays to bring some cheer to those in the local hospital.

Come join us for a night to bring a bright future to these amazing kids – through something as simple as a pair of black shoes.

(Note – shoes must be new or nearly so, all black, in sizes appropriate for children ages 5 years through 18 years. No open toes shoes (sandals) please.)
