Good God (Part 4 Notes)

Is it God’s will for me to prosper financially?

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you so that having all sufficiency in all things, at all times, you may abound in every good work.”

2 Corinthians 9:8 NKJ

Prosperity is not measured in the abundance of possessions you have; prosperity is measured in how much you’re able to give away.

“And God is able to make all grace, every favor and earthly blessing, come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances, and whatever the need, be self-sufficient, possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.”

2 Corinthians 9:8 (AMP)

Sacred Cow #1 – “You shouldn’t talk about money in church. There’s more important things to talk about. You need to teach like Jesus.”
Money is a spiritual indicator of what’s going on in your heart.

Sacred Cow #2 – “We are supposed to be like Jesus, and Jesus was poor.”

“When Herod the King heard that the Magi from the East had come to Jerusalem, he was troubled and all Jerusalem with him.”

Matthew 2:3

“and the wisemen fell down and worshipped Jesus, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts – gold, frankincense and myrrh.”

Matthew 2:11

Sacred cow #3 – “But the Bible says Jesus became poor.”

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, though He was rich, yet for your sake, He became poor, so that by His poverty, you might become rich.”

2 Cor. 8:9 (NKJ)

Don’t let misuse keep you from proper use.

Believing that it is spiritual to be poor is one of the most dangerous deceptions among Christians today.

In order for you to be a steward, you have to have something to steward.

But didn’t Jesus say that the rich are evil and the poor are good?

The religious spirit twists the Word and makes the Father out to be some miser.

The blessing is not in the condition, the blessing is in the fact that the Kingdom is now available to them.

But didn’t Jesus say it was impossible for the rich to enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

All I want is just my own needs met; I don’t want anything more, just enough for me and my family to survive.

“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.”

Proverbs 13:21

“God not only desires to deliver me from financial bondage, but to position me into financial authority to where I am empowered to fulfill every divine assignment and help others fulfill theirs.”

Such a wonderful teaching!!! The comparison to what Jesus paid for on the cross was soooo good!
Thank you for being willing to teach hard things!
Freedom, come in Jesus Name!
