VICTORY STRATEGIES: #4 – LEADERSHIP (Notes)

UNITY – In this 7th season we will experience unprecedented unity and the accuser of the brethren cast down.  We will intentionally create relationships that allow every person connected to Restoration Church to have life-giving relationships and will guard and protect the unity of this House – in Jesus’ name!
HEALING – In this 7th season we decree healing in this House – physical, spiritual, emotional and relational.  We say the healing waters are returning to this place so that those who walk into this atmosphere will experience deliverance and release from all hindering spirits – in Jesus’ name!
SALVATION – In this 7th season we declare Restoration is a House of Salvation.  We believe for conviction of sin and that Your kindness, God, will lead us to repentance so that we may walk in greater measure of intimacy and holiness with You and that many prodigal sons and daughters will return home – in Jesus’ name!
LEADERSHIP – In this 7th season we will see leaders arise to provide oversight and develop each of our 7 core strategies that allows Restoration family to discover and implement their spiritual gifts to bless the Body and enrich their personal lives through serving – in Jesus’ name!
Leadership = INFLUENCE
“True leadership cannot be awarded, appointed, or assigned. It comes only from influence, and that cannot be mandated. It must be earned. The only thing a title can buy is a little time – either to increase your level of influence with others or to undermine it.”
Leadership is influence. Just because someone has a title, doesn’t mean that person is a leader.
“When it comes to identifying a real leader…the proof of leadership is found in the followers.”

5 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.  11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.You can be a subject of the Kingdom but not be subject to the King.

Leadership is strength under authority.

1. Noah: Leaders do what’s right even if they are alone.

2. Abraham: Leaders welcome the unknown.

3. Joseph: Leaders bounce back from tough situations. 

4. Moses: Leaders stick up for their people.

5. Joshua: Leaders rule by example rather than by just bossing people around.

6. David: Leaders are not afraid of giants.

7. Isaiah: Leaders rise to the occasion.

8. Daniel: Leaders stay determined.

9. John the Baptist: Leaders aren’t afraid to call it how it is.

10. Jesus: Leaders are servants.

11. Peter: Leaders recover from failure.

12. Paul: Leaders are passionate for what they believe in.

…the laid down life of a people that are simply carriers of a blueprint given by God to be birthed into the earth. 

They aren’t moved by the praises of men and can’t be owned or manipulated to fulfill a lesser agenda. 

…the healers to broken down systems and restore honor to the ranks. 

…girded with the wisdom and strategy to build what hasn’t even been envisioned.
