Welcome Home
As we regather during the COVID-19 concerns, the Governor and City Health Department have issued several recommended precautions – and we’ve added a few of our own.
- Our building will be completely sanitized this week.
- The chairs are rearranged to provide twice as much distance between rows. Our goal is to maintain as much personal space as possible.
- Family members can sit together, but everyone else will need to honor that 6’ distance rule.
- While we’re excited to be back together, not everyone will be ready for a big hug or even a handshake – so we ask that you refrain from personal contact.
- Masks will be available at the door if you need one and don’t already own one. (Please bring yours if you have one) They are recommended by the health department but not required.
- There are plenty of hand sanitizers sitting around and encourage you to use them.
- In order to maintain personal space, no more than one person at a time in the restroom – with the exception of family members.
- Until it is determined that close contact in a classroom setting is permissible all children’s ministry classrooms will remain closed.
- Children are welcome to attend with you as long as they stay with mom & dad at ALL times. If that’s too difficult for them (and we imagine it will be for some) There will be Praise Packs available to help keep them busy during service.
We encourage you to continue to worship from home. Miss Carrie and her team will continue offering RC Arrows content online for them to enjoy.
Additionally we won’t be passing offering buckets or communion trays. Giving stations will be set up and prepackaged disposable communion cups will be available to pick up as you enter the sanctuary on the days we’re taking communion. Of course our digital giving options are always available to allow you to give securely electronically through text to give or online.
We are taking a cautious, wise approach to begin a gradual recovery and healing process.
The safety of our families and our community remains a high priority. If you don’t feel comfortable attending in person just yet, by all means do not feel pressure to do so. We’ll still be offering online ministry as we have been these past 8 weeks for you to connect and receive encouragement that way.
If you are in a high risk category or are exhibiting any signs of illness we ask that you continue to worship from home.
And if we can pray for you PLEASE take advantage of our call line for prayer. Call (816) 494-2772 Ext. 507. It is an honor to stand with you and agree for the Lord’s protection and healing grace.
This is the church’s finest hour – and we can’t wait to see what He has in store. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday online or in person. Let the healing begin!
